Bounty hunters, gangsters and village secrets: what’s shooting in April

Filming in London this month is action-thriller All the Devil's Men, following a bounty hunter who comes to London to hunt down a disavowed CIA operative. The hunter and his team must fight for their lives as they find themselves locked in tactical urban combat with their former military comrade and his private army. The film stars Milo Gibson (Hacksaw Ridge), William Fichtner (The Dark Knight) and Gbenga Akinnagbe (Independence Day: Resurgence).

Meanwhile British gangster drama Once Upon A Time in London has begun shooting in the capital. The biopic follows the story of notorious East End criminals Billy Hill and Jack "Spot" Comer (Terry Stone), who started out as partners but later became become rivals.

Still shooting are Mary Poppins Returns and an as-yet unnamed Paul Thomas Anderson film which follows a high-end fashion designer in the 1950s.

On the small screen, Requiem (BBC) is a psychological supernatural thriller focusing on a young woman who discovers her true identity after her mother inexplicably commits suicide, leading her to a Welsh village haunted by its past. The series has been filmed largely in Wales with several days in London, and stars Lydia Wilson (Star Trek Beyond), Tara Fitzgerald (Game of Thrones) and Brendan Coyle (Downton Abbey).

TV series still currently filming are Gone, Hard Sun, Howard's End, McMafia, Rellik, and the second season of The Crown.
