New transatlantic partnership with IFP

A new transatlantic partnership between Film London and IFP aims to give two UK producers a major boost, broadening their horizons and giving them invaluable access to the prestigious No Borders International Co-Production Market at Independent Film Week in New York.
"We warmly welcome this new partnership with IFP," says Adrian Wootton, Chief Executive of Film London and the British Film Commission. "This pilot serves as a logical amplification of everything we do to help boost business for our industry and help our filmmakers compete on a global level."
Sponsored by entertainment accountancy firm Nyman Libson Paul (NLP), the pilot project is Film London's first US partnership to directly benefit UK producers.
Bringing UK stories abroad
The partnership will see up to two eligible projects selected by Film London from a talent pool which will include applicants to this year's Film London Production Finance Market (PFM) and Micro Market.
Projects that meet the eligibility criteria will be considered for the program, with the selected producers receiving entry and accommodation to attend IFP's renowned Independent Film Week and Filmmaker Conference in September, along with an annual IFP membership courtesy of the NLP sponsorship.
The successful producers will receive access to financiers, agents and buyers, along with pitch training and expert consultations, workshops and masterclasses with business and artistic leaders and high-level networking events.
