Get Him to the Greek
Judd Apatow's (The 40-year Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Funny People) latest release, road-movie comedy caper Get Him to the Greek, now in cinemas, kicks off in London with Russell Brand reprising his role from 2008 smash hit comedy Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

BoBs 2010
Time to Vote!
You still have time to vote for your favourite film for Film London's Best of Boroughs Film Awards (aka the BoBs) 2010, part of the London Borough Film Fund Challenge. The films shortlisted for the Audience Award can be viewed and voted for online and the short with the highest number of votes will win £2,000. To have your say, get registered, get watching and get voting before 18 July!

Funding, Training & Industry Events
The Sheffield Doc/Fest and Channel 4 BRITDOC Foundation are bringing distribution consultant Peter Broderick and film-maker Sandi DuBowski to London for a presentation and an intensive workshop. Making and Raising Money Online, on Sun 4 July, will provide the latest tips and tricks for funding and selling your films on the web.
Bansee Productions is organising a two-day workshop on the essentials of writing, scheduling, budgeting and overall production of a short film. The event, run by industry professionals, starts on Sun 4 July at Brent Arts Council Stables Gallery & Art Centre Gladstone Park. For more details contact Gladys.

Meet up this Tuesday 6 July for a free fix of Asian Movies and networking in WC2. A screening of Stephen Chows' Shaolin Soccer will be followed by the inaugural improv DJing night Anything Goes.
Festivals & Screenings
Baff Akoto, director of Film London-supported short Starcrossed, presents Football Fables. Now in cinemas, Akoto's tale of a young Ghanaian trying to enter the Premier League has gained great acclaim and reviews. Watch the trailer here.
The third edition of the Tibet Film Festival kicks off with the international premiere of Road to Peace, including a Q&A with director Leon Stuparich and the Dalai Lama's UK representative, Thubten Samdub. The festival will take place in London throughout July - the month of the Dalai Lama's 75th birthday - before going on tour from August.
Dance and Screen Collide, an event for dance professionals interested in film and TV as well as screen professionals, will take place on Tuesday 6 July at BFI Southbank as part of the Big Dance 2010. The event will aim to promote debate, exchange and collaboration between the two worlds. Tickets are free. To book, email events@bafta.org.

Dimitar Mitovski's London-shot flick Mission London, starring Guy Ritchie regular Alan Ford, has become the highest local grosser ever in his native country of Bulgaria. Meanwhile, BBC is to reunite Alan Rickman and Emma Thompson in a one-off drama set in London about a failed love affair and production has begun in London on Martin Scorsese's 3D adventure Hugo Cabret, starring Sacha Baron Cohen. Finally, Warner Bros just released the trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the saga's closing film.

The London Film Museum has just opened Ray Harryhausen - Myths and Legends, an exhibition dedicated to the work of Harryhausen, who is considered the father of modern-day special effects. His career spans over four decades, with films including The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms, Jason and the Argonauts and 1981's Clash of the Titans. Harryhausen's extraordinary creatures can be seen at the exhibition, which will be running for 12 months.
