Are you a film student - au fait with theory, but keen to take on board some practical industry advice? Film London may well be able to help, as we will be running a series of new conferences in the New Year!
This exciting programme of conferences, due to take place early in 2009, is specifically for students who are about to graduate in film, or who are studying for a media-related post graduate degree. All sessions will be free of charge to attend.
As the capital’s film and media agency, part of Film London’s remit is to support the development of the next generation of film-makers. These conferences, targeted at students who have not attended Film London events before, are an opportunity for us to share our expertise and knowledge, and form part of an ongoing outreach programme to support film and media in the capital.
The conferences, both all day events, will take place at the BFI Southbank. To kickstart our programme, we are pleased to announce the following sessions:
- Everything you ever wanted to know about…Filming in London
Thursday 22 January, 9am-5pm, NFT2, BFI Southbank - Everything you ever wanted to know about…Physical Production
Monday 16 February, 9am-5pm, NFT3, BFI Southbank
To be eligible for the conferences you must be studying for a recognised undergraduate or postgraduate qualification at a London-based educational institution.
