2nd Annual CobraVision Awards

Date posted: 22.05.2007

The 2nd Annual CobraVision Awards will be held on 4 June at 6.30pm - celebrating some of the best in new British film.

The top 20 films from the last year of CobraVision will be shown on the big screen. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place, as well as for the best international entry.

CobraVision, Cobra Beer’s innovative short film competition, has been giving budding film-makers the opportunity to get their films shown on national TV for over two years. Now in its third year, CobraVision is returning even bigger and better by providing film-makers with an uncut, dedicated 50 second programme before movies on ITV4.

This year, CobraVision will also be working with their partners to create a visually spectacular interactive exhibition and networking event before and after the awards ceremony. Shooting People, Raindance Film Festival and Blowback magazine will create exhibits to get people talking.

Attended by luminaries of the film industry and hosted by Martin Freeman and June Sarpong, the award ceremony will be hosted at the newly overhauled BFI Southbank.
