Latest Audience Development Fund Awardees
Date posted: 13.12.2007
Ten cinema projects and festivals are to receive support from the new round of Film London’s Audience Development Fund.
Over £25,000 has been awarded to a range of schemes across London boroughs, including community screenings in Poplar and a film group offering children from economically deprived areas the opportunity to explore film.
A number of film festivals will also benefit from the fund including Beijing 2008 on Screen, and support for the London Disability Film Festival - now in its 8th successful year.
Adrian Wootton, Chief Executive of Film London, said: "The fund continues to attract more and more diverse projects that offer London audiences a greater choice and opportunity to access film. We are extremely happy to continue supporting existing cinema projects and festivals to develop further whilst also helping to assist new, smaller projects."
