TCM Crime Scene 2007

TCM Crime Scene is the only festival in the UK devoted to crime and thriller films, novels and television shows.
The festival returns this year (6 – 9 September) with an eclectic programme of screenings and talks. The events will take place across The Curzon Mayfair, The Ritzy and Clapham Picturehouse.
The UK premiere of The Lookout, the directorial debut by renowned scriptwriter Scott Frank will open the festival.
To close, there will be a special preview of Quentin Tarantino’s new film Death Proof. This will be followed by a unique Q+A session with Quentin Tarantino conducted by Crime Scene director Adrian Wootton. Audiences across the UK in 13 other cinemas will be able to view the event via a live satellite relay.

TCM Crime Scene director and Film London CEO, Adrian Wootton, will also be offering his specialist expertise whilst hosting another of the festival’s events. He will be chairing a discussion based around the popular television series Life on Mars. In anticipation of the forthcoming London-based spin off series, Ashes to Ashes, Life on Mars – Behind the Scenes will look at the genesis of the popular programme and what to expect from the new spin off series.
Adrian Wootton will be joined by Philip Glenister (who plays Gene Hunt in both series), writers and creators Ashley Pharaoh and Matthew Graham, executive producer Claire Parker and producers Jane Featherstone and Cameron Roach.
