Unheard Voices (27 November – 3 December) is a new independent film festival for emerging and aspiring film-makers.

The aim of the festival is to gain insight and inspiration from projects produced by some of the most talented and experienced independent film-makers in the British and World Cinema scenes.

Hosted by multi-award winning director Yousaf Ali Khan, newcomers and seasoned professionals alike will be guided all the way from the concept of a film right through to distribution.

There will be seven days of affordable workshops, screenings and seminars held at Karamel Club in Wood Green.

Film-makers delivering masterclasses, workshops and seminars include:

  • Menhaj Huda (Kidulthood)
  • Sally Hibbin (Almost Adult, I.D., Land & Freedom)
  • Brian Tufano (Trainspotting, East is East, Billy Elliot)
