Short Film Festival Winners

At the recent Brief Encounters 10th Bristol International Short Film Festival 2004 Deva Palmier’s Fishy was co-runner up for the BBC New Filmmakers Award, whilst Innocent Pink by Paul Whittington garnered a commendation from Momentum’s Best of British Award.
Goodbye Cruel World was awarded Best Film and Best Direction at the No Spot Creativity Film Festival in New York and Gravity made the final 6 of the prestigious Turner Classic Movies Short Film Competition 2004.
Yousaf Ali Khan’s Talking with Angels won the Audience Award at the 10th Festival of European Films on Wheels in Turkey.
All the shorts were supported by Film London through the London Production Fund.
Great news for Film London’s Pulse awardees - Kara Miller’s short Elephant Palm Tree has been selected for competition in the Sundance Film Festival 05. Whilst, Colin Hutton’s short Gravity screened at the Big Issue Film Festival 2004.
