Exhibition

London boasts a rich and vibrant film culture. Some 60 film festivals, from key fixtures in the international industry calendar to borough-run short film festivals, are on offer to Londoners throughout the year. Film seasons, retrospectives and special events hosted by the city's numerous cinemas combine with bars, community centres and galleries to contribute to this scene, entertaining and inspiring audiences across the capital.
Film London actively encourages this film viewing culture and supports organisations to reach new audiences across the city. We support a wide range of exhibition and education initiatives, from festivals and cinemas to screen archives, community screenings and special events.
In addition to offering grants, through our Cultural Film Exhibition Fund and the Community Pilot Fund, Film London's Audience Development team provide regular networking opportunities for exhibitors and one-to-one Exhibitors' Surgeries, allowing cinema staff, film festival organisers, film education officers and arts officers to consult with industry experts, develop best practice and key skills, and network with like-minded people.
If you want to find out more about festivals and special events taking place in London, visit our online events calendar. For all the latest, we also recommend signing up for the Film London email newsletter.
