Guide to Filming in London
Location of the Month 2010
The region offers a wealth of filming locations, which film-makers have made good use of in everything from tentpole Hollywood movies to quirky British indies, from quality dramas to high-end adverts.
Each month we highlight a location that has been used by a production team - tied in to a film release or a TV transmission date - providing a nice insight into either the process of filming in the area, or the end product itself!
2010 has seen a location in Heathrow double for a wartorn Baghdad hotel in the aftermath of the Iraq invasion, a street provide the backdrop to stars of Channel 4’s India season - which saw 200 extras and a water buffalo descend on the City - and a park play host to a motorbike stunt artist!
