Jack the Ripper was the first mass media serial killer and has been a source of fascination since the story was first printed about the Whitechapel Murders in 1888. There was no closure to the case, nobody was ever brought to justice, and the identity of the killer remains a mystery...
There have been countless films and TV shows made about this curious figure from the silent era, right through to the 20th Century Fox film From Hell released in 2001.
The Original London Walks provides a fascinating insight into the disturbed mind of the Ripper and consequently his movements through the streets of the capital. To inspect the murder sites and sift through the evidence join the guides nightly from 7.30pm.
Meet the guide at 7.30pm just outside Tower Hill underground station, this is a nightly event (there is also a Ripper "matinee" on Saturday afternoons at 3pm).
