The Alfred Hitchcock London Locations Walk

Image of Graphic for the The Alfred Hitchcock London Locations Walk

Sandra Shevey became interested in Alfred Hitchcock locations after interviewing him in 1972 where he divulged some secrets about technique and location.

The aim of the walk is to assess to what extent Alfred Hitchcock transformed locations to suit whim and/or commercial pressures. Sandra Shevey talks about what the director was really like, often playing excerpts from the audio interview.

The Alfred Hitchock London Locations Walk runs every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday throughout the year (including holidays). It begins at 11am and lasts for 3 hours.

The London walk is partnered with the Alfred Hitchcock New York City Locations walk, which Sandra began in 2001.
