The British Urban Film Festival 2010

Formed in July 2005, the British Urban Film Festival (BUFF) aims to showcase urban independent cinema and enable and support young and emerging British urban film-makers. In order to celebrate urban independent cinema and grassroots film-making talent in both the UK and abroad, 15 shortlisted films produced by from both British and foreign film-makers will be screened free of charge.
The film Sus (starring Clint Dyer, Rafe Spall and Ralph Brown) will be opening the festival, followed by a string of exciting feature films such as Loyal Blood and Last Train to Silver Street. In addition, an interesting selection of shorts such as Slapper, Grave Mistake, Je Suis Naïve Tu Es Cruel, The Shift, Don't Shoot will also be showcased.
The 2010 British Urban Film Festival, which is supported by Gabriel Media International, The London Borough of Redbridge, Cineworld, Catch a Vibe, Just Productions and Knowledge Fountain, will also be hosted by actor and comedian Lateef Lovejoy. Since free tickets are limited, it is advisable to book tickets to screenings in advance.
