London INDIAN Film Festival (LIFF) launches in July with a packed programme of cutting-edge Indian films. These UK previews are not Bollywood, but some of the hottest new Indian independent films that have their fan base with the young, in-crowd in super-cities like Mumbai. Entertaining, thoughtful and even down-right shocking these movies show a more realistic view of India today in all its rich colours.

Following the success of our acclaimed Microwave titles Lilting, Shifty and Ill Manors, our hit training-through-production scheme is back with a fresh batch of 12 filmmaking teams, all armed with a great idea for a low-budget feature film.
Seamus Harahan has won the 2015 Jarman Award, with all six shortlisted artists commissioned to produce broadcast commissions for Channel 4’s Random Acts strand and Noski Deville announced as winner of the inaugural Jules Wright Prize.
