9th London Short Film Festival

The London Short Film Festival, now in its 9th year, is renowned for daring cross-arts programming showcasing the very best of the country's raw talent. The festival will take place over ten days at various venues across London, combining independent shorts, plus live music, training, parties, art and fashion.
Highlights of festival includes Not the Skin I Live In-Black and Asian Stories, highlighting Black and Asian experiences in the UK, Night of the Living Docs, a marathon evening of short documentaries, Femmes Fantastiques, a selection of films featuring women with attitude, Lo-Budget Mayhem, Retrospectives of avant-garde film-maker Sean Conway and acclaimed Scottish director Paul Wright, 9 Bob Note: 10 short films showcasing Queer Cinema and Lights Camera, Access!, a panel discussion and screening event presented in partnership with Trailblazers, a network of young disabled activists.
There will also be special events presented in partnership with Suitcase Cinema, Screen Bandita and Straight8, featuring everything from entries to the Straight8 short film competition to reels recovered from junk shops and attics.
